In coordination between the research service Botanical Extension Center - University of 20 August 1955 - Skikda and the Research Center in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAG), this morning, in the amphitheatre of the Masoud Boukadoum Complex, the Vice-President of the University of Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Amara Othmani, oversaw the inauguration of the Astronomy Days at the University of Skikda, the demonstration under the title «Beyond the Sky (astronomical meeting in Russicade)».

The program of the first day is varied, in which an intervention was made to present the astronomical observatory, and the second was entitled Observing Small Bodies in the Solar System Using the Star Occlusion Method, presented by Dr Johnny Baba Issa and Dr Khalil Daifallah. Astronomical observations were also programmed from the roof of the College of Technology using the 280 mm Celestron telescope to see the lunar crescent and the planets Saturn, Jupiter and Mars at six o'clock in the evening.
